              Native New Orleanian Wayne Maureau has over  fifteen years experience performing and recording with top New Orleans artists in all genres of music. He has also been called upon to perform with international artists and travel overseas as well as in the states. In addition to his busy schedule as a sideman Wayne  leads TriFunctA, an instrumental funk/fusion group based on the organ trio concept and is a member of Brazilian group Trio de Janeiro, and Latin band Vivaz. His first CD, Sidewalk Safari, was released in 2001 and includes Wayne's original compositions and unique arrangements. In his capacity as artist/educator, Wayne serves as adjunct faculty percussion instructor at Loyola University and Delgado Community College.  He has given clinics and master classes throughout the Southeastern United States and published The Multi-Stylist drummer, a method book detailing his approach to the drums.
